Hear how one of our amazing volunteers, Isla, came to be involved with the Phoenix Cultural Centre and the significant impact that young people have had on shaping and enriching the venue’s community spirit.

One of the key reasons we established the venue centre was to serve as a dedicated training venue, allowing individuals interested in the creative industries to easily access valuable training opportunities in their local grassroots setting. Here, Isla shares her personal journey, discussing her experiences, motivations, and how she became an integral part of our organisation. Staying open until the end of the year will allow us to maximise the number of training sessions offered, ensuring we make full use of the diverse skills our team members have to share, as well as the excellent facilities and equipment available at the venue.
